Perimeter Pest Control

Perimeter insect control is a liquid application of insecticide designed to place a protective barrier around the outside of your home before pests have a chance to enter. Your specialist will treat areas 3’ up the foundation of the house, paying particular attention to window wells, cracks, and other entry points. The surrounding 4’-6’ out from the house will also be treated. This barrier will help eliminate 90% of insects trying to enter your home.

ADVANTAGES OF PERIMETER INSECT CONTROL: Since 90% of insects will be controlled from the outside barrier treatments, the need for additional interior treatments usually is not needed. Pesticide applications are made outside of the home away from living spaces.

WILL THE TREATMENTS HURT MY PLANTS OR PETS ? No. The treatment that is placed around your home will not harm any plants or pets once it has dried. The exact details will be placed on your front door at the time of treatment. Please read any information that comes with your bill.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO PREPARE FOR A PERIMETER PEST APPLICATION ? We do ask homeowners to keep pets inside or away from treatment areas until they are dry. All first floor and basement windows should be closed. Any watering hoses, tools, toys, etc. that need to be picked up or moved away from the foundation of the house should be done before the application.

We will perform 3 treatments per year. One in the spring, one in the summer, and one in the fall.

Payment is due when services are rendered. A 2% service charge per month with $5.00 minimum added after 30 days.
